Anxiety
You've been experiencing anxiety for weeks, months, maybe

What is anxiety?
Anxiety is an uncomfortable feeling we experience when we
are facing a risk to our physical and/or emotional wellbeing. The feeling
alerts us to the existence of the risk and motivates us to take action to
mitigate it.
There are two kinds of anxiety we can experience – normal and abnormal.
Normal anxiety is a vital component in our instinctive survival operating system (SOS) that helps keep us alive.
Abnormal anxiety is the product of our SOS acting like a faulty fire alarm, that goes off when there’s no real fire.
People who experience abnormal anxiety and seek treatment are typically diagnosed as having an ‘anxiety disorder.’
Abnormal anxiety
It’s normal to worry about the outcome of future situations where the outcome is important to us. It's not normal to worry constantly about the outcome
of future situations where the outcomes are not important to us and/or the
feared events are unlikely to ever happen. This type of worry produces abnormal
anxiety - anxiety that is unhelpful and unnecessary.
Abnormal anxiety takes many forms known as 'anxiety disorders':

You’re not alone in experiencing abnormal anxiety. It’s estimated that on average, one in four people aged 16 to 85, and one in three women and one in five men, experience some form of abnormal anxiety (anxiety disorder) during their lifetime.
Abnormal anxiety can lead to feelings of frustration, low self-esteem, anger, or depression. You might find yourself comparing yourself to others, feeling self-conscious, not feeling good enough, not worthy enough.
